ATP Valencia: Seppi is eliminated against Ferrer - continues in doubles
Andreas Seppi was eliminated on Wednesday in the first round of the ATP tournament in Valencia (1.496.095 euros in prize money). The 30-year-old from Kalter was defeated by top seed David Ferrer, number 5 in the world, 1:33, 3:6 in 5:7 hours of play. This means the Spaniard remains undefeated against Seppi. Today he celebrated his ninth win in his ninth direct duel against Kalterer. In the doubles, however, Seppi reached the quarter-finals with Fabio Fognini.
