After Gael Monfils (ATP 9) and world number three Dominic Thiem, the Italian Matteo Berrettini (ATP 8) was presented on Friday, meaning three top ten players will take part in the show event worth 300.000 euros (100.000 for the winner). Only one name is missing In addition, two well-known Russian players have also confirmed their participation: Andrej Rublev and Karen Khachanov, numbers 14 and 15 in the currently frozen ATP rankings, are also coming to Gamsstadt. Five players from the top 15 will compete in Kitz. There is also the strong Croatian Borna Coric (ATP 33) and Thiem's best friend, Dennis Novak, who will provide a second Austrian contribution. Dominic and Wolfgang Thiem, together with the Kitzbühel organizers Markus Bodner, Herbert Günther and Florian Zinnagl, want to reveal who the eighth man will be next week.

The tournament's namesake himself is really looking forward to his return to Kitzbühel and extraordinary circumstances in the midst of the Corona crisis. “It will be very special to return to Kitzbühel for the first time after my first win at the home tournament. “We already have a really attractive field of players,” says Dominic Thiem, “who is really looking forward to seeing the boys again.” He is a little proud of the exhibition tournament: “It’s crazy that we were able to organize such a brilliant event together in a relatively short time.”

The game is played in the same way as the ATP Finals: two groups of four, the two best in each group play crosswise (1st against 2nd) in the semi-finals, and the final takes place on July 11th. So each player will be seen at least three times.
