Australian Open: Seppi misses match point and loses in fifth set

Andreas Seppi failed to make it to the quarterfinals of a Grand Slam tournament for the first time in his career. The 30-year-old from Kalter was eliminated on Sunday morning at the Australian Open in the Hisens Arena in Melbourne against local hero Nick Kyrgios after a two-set lead and 3.34 hours of play with 7:5, 6:4, 3:6, 6:7 and 6:8 out. Seppi also missed a match point in the fourth set.
