It's busy at TV Niederdorf

A total of 53 tennis players registered for the 40rd and 3th categories at the national tennis tournament “4 Years of TVN”. The men's grid of 4 was well populated with local players. In the final, Robert Elzenbaumer from Olang showed his class and clearly won 6:2, 6:1. In the 3-player grid, Cristian Ghiani from TV Niederdorf once again won the tournament - but also with a bitter aftertaste, as his final opponent and former professional footballer Thomas Bachlechner from Bruneck had to retire injured when the score was 3:4. The field of participants in the women's tournament was significantly smaller. Lisa Fauster from TV Niederdorf clearly won the four-way final against Innichner Barbara Hofmann 4:6, 1:6. The top seeded 1 player Tamara Berger from Bruneck won the title in the higher category with an easy 3.1:6, 3:6 against Verena Stolzlechner from ASC St. Georgen. The winners were able to receive a beautiful anniversary trophy in addition to the prize money. The FIT-VSS children's tournament from the Tennis Promo Grand Prix/Raiffeisen series also took place in Niederdorf from July 1st to 4th, for which 36 players from the surrounding communities registered. The winners were determined in all categories (U8, U10, U13, U18) for both girls and boys. TV Niederdorf was able to win three of 7 titles. Jonas Irenberger clearly won the pure U10 TVN duel against Giovanni Dal Cin 4:0 and 4:0. Chiara Tamalio won against Egarter Maia 6-0 in the girls U18. In the U18 boys, Michael Prenn showed once again that he still has a very good command of tennis and clearly won in his group ahead of Simon Irenberger.
