Cervia and Rizzolli excel in Montan

The event was a huge success: 145 players were registered for men, 37 for women, and 16 couples competed in doubles. Around 200 games took place on the pitches in Montan, Auer and Neumarkt. In the male field of participants, the winner's cup remained in the Unterland: Giacomo Cervia eliminated number 1 seed Markus Sparer (ATC St. Pauls) in the semi-finals and also decided the final against Wolfgang Prossliner (TC Rungg) after a tough fight with 5:7, 7: 5, 6:4 for themselves. However, the matter was clearer for the women, where Sara Rizzolli (TC Rungg) lived up to her role as favorite and after the semi-final win against Verena Rauch (TC Kaltern) in the final against Elvira Moling (TC Kaltern) with 6:2, 6:2 kept the upper hand. In the doubles final, Ezio Bosin and Alexander Weissensteiner (ASC Eggen) beat Martin Aichner and Tobias Baumgartner (ATC Völs) 6:2, 6:3.
