The Serie C players are looking forward to the start of the season

For the men, the first two teams in Groups A and B qualify for the semi-finals on May 19th. The final will take place a week later, on May 26th. The remaining four teams play to stay in the league, the last placed team is relegated to the D1 series. The favorites include TC Bozen, TC Rungg, TC Gherdeina and ASC St. Georgen, four very balanced and strong teams. Last year, Gherdeina had to admit defeat to TC Rungg in the final, while the Pusterers were already eliminated in the semi-finals against Val Gardena. TC Rungg, which narrowly missed promotion to Serie B last year, has strengthened itself again this year and will try to fight for promotion again. Serie B relegated team TC Bozen should not be underestimated. The Talferstädter signed players such as returnees Alexander Weis (2.2) and Manuel Bernard (2.5). Davide Tortora (2.3) and Kalterer Thomas Holzer (2.5) are also top players.

The women's group is also very balanced. There are no bad teams, no favorites either. The TC Municipality of Bozen has three strong players: Silvia Saccani, Magdalena Santer and Gabriella Polito. Brixen, Meran and Rungg will also be at the forefront. At the start of the season, the Überetscher signed tennis professional Verena Hofer from Ortisei.
