Fed Cup: Italy loses in Spain and is relegated

With a 0-4 defeat against Spain, the Italian women's national team returned from the playoff to stay in the Fed Cup World Group in Lleida. The “Azzurre”, with Karn Knapp from Ahrntal, are relegated back to World Group 18 after 2 years. Italy has won the Fed Cup four times (2006, 2009, 2010 and 2013) and also reached the final in 2007.
