Gatterer and Harrasser win Bruneck doubles tournament

The 45-year-old Hannes Gatterer and Benjamin Harrasser, who is seven years younger, finished the Bruneck tournament without losing a set and defeated the top seeds Patrizio Morini/Stefan Schöpf 6:3, 6:4 in the final. In the game for third place, Franz and Bruno Mair defeated Francesco Cusano/Nicolò Barucchello 3:6, 0:7.

In the mixed competition, the two top seeded couples were eliminated in the quarterfinals. The number 1 of the tournament, Liselotte Bachmann and Hansjörg Jungmann, had to admit defeat to Nina Schwingshackl/Stefano Sartori 3:6, 4:6, while the number 2 Waltraud Kirchler/Stefan Schöpf failed due to Tamara Mairamtinkhof/Christoph Gasser.
