Since Giorgini first competed in Rungg in 2006, he has never been so good: So far, two quarter-finals in 2006 and 2007 have been the highest of emotions - in 2013 he lost in the round of XNUMX against Juan Lizariturry, of all people, against whom he won in the first round this year and reached the final in doubles with Matteo Volante.

Brkic finishes off Donati

Giorgini was followed by Winkler conqueror Tomislav Brkic (ATP 350). The 24-year-old Bosnian also impressed today with his tough punches. The 19-year-old Italian talent Matteo Donati (ATP 303) found no way to beat Brkic at 4:6, 4:6, who is still without a set loss in Rungg. And Trevisan was allowed to quarrel with fate, as he had set points in both the first and second sets - last year's finalist could have just as easily won the match.
