Haller and Sigmund win the 3rd category tournament in Vipiteno

On his way to the final, Haller, seeded number 3, eliminated the 4.4 player Denis Belli 6:2, 6:4 in the quarter-finals, and in the semi-finals he benefited from the surrender of Ladin's Fabio Dallapiazza, against whom he beat 6:4, Leading 2:3. In the final, Haller faced top favorite and 2017 winner Hannes Christanell. The player from Tennis Brixen prevailed in the semifinals against Kilian Dallapiazza 6:2, 6:3. Haller, who plays for ATC Schlanders, dominated the final and was able to clearly assert himself with 6:2, 6:1.

In the women's category, however, Karen Sigmund lived up to her role as favorite. The 22-year-old from Vahrn, who was able to prevail in Vipiteno three years ago, first easily defeated Lombard Paola Avanzi 6:0, 6:3 in the semi-finals, before beating Sara Rizzolli from TC Rungg in two sets in the final with 6: 3, 7:6 defeated.

Feichter wins 4th category In the 4th category of the men's final, however, host Fabian Feichter was at the top.
