Helvetie Cup: Italy with Verena Hofer eliminated

The Italian U16 girls' national tennis team, with Verena Hofer from Val Gardena, failed to qualify for the European Summer Helvetie Cup. The “Azzurre” lost the semi-final against the hosts with 1:2 points in Rakovnic, Czech Republic on Thursday and were therefore unable to qualify for the final phase of the cup next week in Leysin, Switzerland.
