Series C begins in two weeks

For the men, the first two teams in Groups A and B qualify for the semi-finals on May 21st. The final will take place a week later, on May 28th. The remaining four teams play to stay in the league, the last placed team is relegated to the D1 series. The favorites include St. Christina-Wolkenstein and TC Rungg, which have two very balanced and strong teams. Last year, the Val Gardena team had to admit defeat to TC Meran in the final, while TC Rungg was already eliminated in the semi-finals against St. Christina. It will be difficult for TC Meran, who were crowned national champions for the first time in 38 years, to defend their title.

For the women, however, TC Rungg won the national championship title last year for the second time in its history. This year too, the Überetscher women, along with Meran, are among the big favorites. Last year, Rungg prevailed in the decisive match against Meran and secured the women's title.

The five registered teams all play against each other. Each team plays two games at home and two away, then the new national champions are determined.

Series C begins in two weeks

While the men's Series B with TC Bozen is already underway, the Series C tennis team championship will also start in two weeks. Eight South Tyrolean men's teams and five women's teams are taking part.
