Italian Championship: Winkler fails in the quarter-finals

After the three-set win against the Roman Gabriele Campana, Tröbinger from Wolkenstein lost out in the second round against Samuele Pieri from Tuscany with 3:6, 2:6. In the doubles, Kirchlechner and Tröbinger even reached the quarter-finals, where they lost to the number 3 seeded duo Giorgio Portalluri/Giuseppe Tresca 4:6, 2:6.

For Nicolò Toffanin from Leifer and Christian Fellin from Brixen, the final stop was already in the third, decisive qualifying round.
