ITF: Meliss fails at the start in Calvi

Verena Meliss was eliminated in the first round of the $25.000 ITF tournament in Calvi (Corsica) on Wednesday afternoon. The 23-year-old from Kalter lost in the port city against the French Estelle Cascino (WTA 462) 2:6, 4:6.
