Alexander Weis was eliminated in the first round of the $25.000 ITF tournament in Santa Margherita in Sardinia. The 19-year-old from Bolzano, who slipped into the main draw thanks to a wild card, had to admit defeat to Cristian Carli (ATP 849) in two sets 1.13:3, 6:2 after 6 hours of play.
