Verena Meliss failed to reach an ITF doubles final for the third time in her career. The 17-year-old from Kaltern and her compatriot Marcella Cucca had to admit defeat to the top-seeded duo Alice Matteucci/Despina Papamichail (Italieb/Greece) 10.000:3, 6:3 on Friday evening at the $6 tournament in Sharm El Sheikh.
