ITF: Weis/Pichler are in the doubles final in Tabarka

Weis/Pichler, seeded number 2, narrowly defeated Adam Moundir (MAR)/Jakub Paul (SVI), number 3 of the tournament, 1:41, 7:5, 4:6 in the semifinals after 10:4 hours of play.

The match was very even from the start. The 22-year-old from Bolzano and Pichler, who is one year older and from Oslip in Burgenland, had to fend off a break point from their opponents in the 4th game of the 1st set, but then used their only chance in the 11th game to take a 6:5 lead.
