Jacopo Agosti and Luianta Moling win the Brixen spring tournament

The number 1 seed, Jacopo Agosti (3.1), clearly defeated the 3.1 player Markus Sanoll 6:3, 6:2 in the men's semifinals and met the number 2 of the tournament, Lukas Crepaz, in the final. The ice hockey player from Pusteria, who was only able to win the semi-final against Benjamin Rossi from Paulsen after more than three hours with 4:6, 7:6(0), 7:5, was noticeably tired in the final. Agosti took advantage of this coldly and shot him away 6:2, 6:0.

There was also no surprise winner among the women with Luianta Moling (3.2). The 17-year-old from Val Badia, who plays for TC Kaltern, eliminated last year's winner Greta Zwerger in three sets in the semi-finals with 7:5, 6:7(3), 6:4 and met Carina Vuga in the final, who surprisingly played in the quarter-finals which knocked top seed Karen Sigmund out of the tournament. In the final she had to admit defeat to Moling 5:7, 6:7(3).

However, there was a little surprise in the fourth category tournament. The 4-year-old Roland Schwarz first gave top favorite Klaus Markart (41) no chance in the semifinals with 4.1:6, 3:6 and then defeated Thomas Schraffl, number 2 in the tournament, in two sets with 2:6, 4: 7(6). In the women's race, Franziska Daum won in a small field of participants. The 4 player defeated top seed Hannah Zwerger 4.1:6, 2:7(6).

169 players took part in the traditional spring tournament in Brixen. Jacopo Agosti from Meran and Luianta Moling from Val Badia prevailed in the third category, while Roland Schwarz and Franziska Daum were able to assert themselves in the fourth category.
