Jan Hernych: From the qualification to the semi-finals in Val Gardena

The 35-year-old Czech, who had to play the qualification last weekend, defeated the Russian Aslan Karatsev 7:6(6), 7:6(5) and qualified for the semi-finals. On Saturday he will play against either Andreas Seppi or qualifier Nils Langer for his second Val Gardena final after 2011.
