Jannik Sinner's next milestone

Jannik Sinner has been Italy's best player in the world rankings for the first time in his career since Monday. He replaces Matteo Berrettini as the new world number 1. The Sesto native is the 10th number 28 for the “Azzurri” since the introduction of the world rankings in August 1.

Since the introduction of the world rankings, 28 players have been the new number 1 in Italy. Sinner is the second South Tyrolean after Andreas Seppi.
