Youth Master title awarded in Bolzano

There were numerous promising South Tyrolean talents who competed from the U-10 to the U-16. There were favorites in the U-16 class: Manuel Plunger (3.5) won the men's category and Luianta Moling (3.3) won the women's category. The former gave Simon Ebner (4.1) no chance in the final with a 6:2, 6:4. Moling also presented himself confidently against Alessia Piccoliori (3.3) at 6:1, 6:2.

Three finals were particularly competitive Manuel Plunger also took victory in the Master U-14 class. There he had the upper hand against Stefano Pinzan (4.1). In the women's field, Tamara Berger (4.1) caused a surprise by defeating the higher ranked Anna Markart Aileen (3.5) in three sets. The fight was also intense in the boys' U-12 final, with Gabriel Moroder (4.2) ultimately winning against Daniel Theiner (4.2) 1:6, 7:6 (2), 6:2. Franziska Daum (4.5) had comparatively little trouble in her win against Nadine Vinatzer (4.4). The U-10 duel between Jonas Masten and Killian Dalla Piazza had to be decided in the tie-break of the third set, with Masten emerging as the winner. Laura Pecoraro won the women's tournament with a final victory over Janina Player.
