Kalterer youth dominates Raiffeisen Grand Prix in Sand in Taufers

Only in the U16 boys category did they not reach the top of the podium. In this category, Simon Ebner from Paulsen from TC Bozen prevailed against No. 1 seed Tobias Palla from Kalter in three sets with 3:6, 7:6, 7:5.

Otherwise there was only a sense of success for the young talents from Kalter. In the youngest category (U12), top favorite Lukas Palla clearly prevailed in the final against his teammate Simon Greif 6:2, 6:1. There was also a “Palla” victory for the girls. Anna Katharina retained the upper hand against Francesca Miglio from Liguria 7:5, 7:5. The woman from Kaltern also reached the U14 final, but had to admit defeat to her teammate Lucia Panin 6:4, 3:6, 2:6. In the U14 boys final, Gabriel Gruber from TC Kaltern played great against the Piedmontese top favorite Nicola Pereno and won 6:3, 6:1.

Kalterer youth dominates Raiffeisen Grand Prix in Sand in Taufers

Around 60 players from the U12, 14 and 16 age groups took part in the seventh of a total of 19 seasonal tournaments of the “Raiffeisen Youth Tennis Grand Prix 2017” in Sand in Taufers. The TC Kaltern players were unstoppable. They won in four of the five categories held.
