Karin Knapp fights her way into the semi-finals - Mayr cancels the sails in Caslano

At the $10.000 ITF tournament in Bagnatica, Karin Knapp worked up a sweat in the quarterfinal match against Colombia's Yuliana Lizarazo on Friday. In the end, however, the woman from Ahrntal was able to prevail with 6:3, 3:6 and 6:4 and advance to the semi-finals. Julia Mayr from Olanger, however, was eliminated from the tournament in Caslano.
