Karin Knapp climbs to 38th place in the WTA world rankings

By reaching the final in Bad Gastein on Sunday, Karin Knapp not only won 17.258 euros in prize money, but also secured 180 important WTA points. This means that the 28-year-old from Ahrntal climbs from 43rd to 38th place in the world rankings and is only three positions away from her best ranking from 2008, when she was 35th in February.
