Karin Knapp fails in the quarterfinals against Sabine Lisicki

Karin Knapp was eliminated in the quarterfinals of the $235.000 tournament in Luxembourg. The 26-year-old from Luttach im Ahrntal had to admit defeat to number three on the seed list and Wimbledon finalist Sabine Lisicki in three sets, after 2:08 hours of play, 5:7, 6:4, 0:6.
