Karin Knapp misses out on her first WTA title

The 27-year-old Luttacher almost won a tournament on the WTA tour for the first time in her career on Sunday. In the double final of the tournament in Bucharest, which was endowed with 250.000 dollars in prize money, Karin Knapp, alongside 24-year-old Turkish Cagla Buyukakcay, had to admit defeat in three sets to local heroes Elena Bogdan/Alexandra Cadantu 4:6, 6:3, 5:10.
