On Wednesday afternoon (CET), Karin Knapp suffered a three-set defeat against North Tyrolean Patricia Mayr-Achleitner in the first round of the WTA Premier tournament in Miami ($5,427 million in prize money). It was the first direct duel between the two tennis players.
