Knapp failed to qualify in Dubai

Karin Knapp from Ahrntal was eliminated in the second round of qualification at the “Duty Free Tennis Championships” in Dubai (2 million dollars in prize money) on Sunday morning. The 26-year-old from Luttach was defeated by the German Annika Beck, number 55 in the WTA world rankings, 1:31, 0:6 after 5:7 hours of play.
