King Laurin Trophy: Three titles remain in South Tyrol

For the boys in the U10 age group, Kevin Vinatzer from ATC Ladinia and Diego Vigorita from Turin made it to the final. There the Gadertaler was able to prevail in an exciting match in the third set tiebreak with 3:6, 6:3, 7:4.

In the U12 category, another Ladin native, Kilian Dallapiazza, and David Simoncelli from CT Rovereto faced off. Trent dominated the final and clearly won 6-0, 6-1. Daniel Lechner's performance should also be highlighted. The U10 national champion from CT Ussa, who played his first tournament ever in the U12 age group this week, made it from qualifying to the semi-finals, where he only lost out to Dallapiazza 4:6, 4:6.

In the U14 final, Filippo Crotti from TC Treviso met Gabriele Soldà from Veneto, who plays for TC Torino. Crotti already eliminated Soldà's teammate Federico Garbero in three sets in the semifinals, today he made short work of Soldà and clearly won 6:2, 6:1.

In the U16, the final was a purely South Tyrolean affair between homegrown Christian Romagnoli and Kalterer Gabriel Gruber. Romagnoli brought Nathan Avanzini from TC Rungg to his knees in the semi-finals, while Gruber had the upper hand against Daniel Tavernini from Bolzano. In the final, Romagnoli gave the Kalterer no chance and won 6:1, 6:1.

Franziska Daum wins the U14 girls

Franziska Daum, on the other hand, won the only South Tyrolean women's title. The player from ASV Lana prevailed in the U14 category against Alessandra Versini from TC Arco in two hard-fought sets 7:6, 7:5. In the youngest category (U10), Maria Elena Savoia from Bardolino was at the top after a 6:3, 6:2 win against Iris Tabarelli from TC Rungg, while Noemi Maines from ATA Battisti beat her teammate Lisa Tomasi 12:6 in the U3 final , defeated 6:1. Arianna Amaduzzi from Merano, however, lost the U16 girls final against Giulia Stefan from Bovolone 2:6, 4:6.
