Kyrgios attacks Thiem: “Not the intellectual abilities”

Because the Austrian Dominic Thiem reacted sniffily to Kyrgios' criticism of his colleagues' behavior in the Corona crisis in an interview and pointed out his regular missteps, Kyrgios publicly questioned Thiem's intellectual abilities.

“What are you actually talking about, Dominik Thiem? Of my mistakes like destroying clubs? Curse? Give away a match here and there? Things everyone does? None of you have the intellectual ability to understand what I'm about. For me it’s about responsibility,” wrote the 26-year-old. Thiem defends Djokovic In the Tyrolean daily newspaper, Thiem called Kyrgios' criticism of Djokovic's Adriatic tour in front of thousands of spectators and party photos that emerged afterwards "cheap". Djokovic “made a mistake - but I don’t understand why everyone is getting involved now.” Kyrgios “made a lot of nonsense himself. I understand even less when he interferes in everything. It would be better if he came to terms with himself instead of always criticizing others.”

However, Kyrgios is not thinking of giving up and in response he attacked the trio Thiem, Zverev and Djokovic again. “That just shows what a joke this all is. Two of them are celebrating during a global pandemic. People lose their lives, their relatives and friends, and then Thiem talks about a 'mistake'. And people like that are at the top of our sport,” Kyrgios wrote, concluding with a “shake of his head.”

Most recently, Kyrgios had already worked on Becker, who responded to the Australian's criticism of Zverev with a “I don’t like rats” had dismissed. “For heaven’s sake, Boris. "I'm not interested in a competition or throwing anyone to the sharks," he tweeted, hurling at Becker: "He can hit a volley but obviously isn't the sharpest tool in the shed."

What are you talking about? @ThiemDomi ? Mistakes like smashing rackets? Swearing? Tanking a few matches here or there? Which everyone does? None of you have the intellectual level to even understand where I'm coming from. I'm trying to hold them accountable.
