Ladurner's fighting spirit is not rewarded - Hofer fails in the doubles

On Thursday, two tennis players from South Tyrol, Jasmin Ladurner and Verena Hofer, took part in ITF tournaments. The Merano native was eliminated in round two of the $10.000 competition in Sharm El Sheikh, while the 17-year-old from Val Gardena had to give up the doubles in Santa Margherita di Pula (also $10.000 prize money).
