Lageder causes a surprise at the Challenger opener in Val Gardena

Lageder causes a surprise at the Challenger opener in Val Gardena

The Sparkasse ATP Challenger Val Gardena South Tyrol started with a surprise on Saturday morning. Local hero Philip Lageder from Ortisei passed the first round of qualifying and defeated the Italian Enrico Becuzzi 6:3, 7:6 (7:3) in around an hour and a half.
