Laguercia and Kofler win at TC Druso

There were favorites wins for both men and women. In the men's category, the two top-seeded 4.1 players Ugo La Quercia from TC Gemeinde Bozen and local hero Marco Bucciarelli reached the final. In a very even game, Laguercia finally prevailed in three sets 6:2, 1:6, 6:4. Laguercia eliminated the surprisingly strong Armando Bellogoi in the quarterfinals, who had previously knocked out the 4.1 Matteo Lovecchio and Anton Höller from the competition, and David Dima in the semifinals, while Bucciarelli retained the upper hand against the Over 60 national champion Franco Tommasini and Mariusz Buca.

The two favorites Sarah Kofler and Hilde Niederstätter also faced each other in the women's final. Kofler defeated Rungger's Simona Sedlak in the semi-finals, Niederstätter defeated Monika Prossliner from Bolzano. In the final, Niederstätter, who had been injured for a long time, had to give up when the score was 1:1 (6:2 and 3:6). The title went to Sarah Kofler from TC Schlanders.

Ugo Laguercia from Bolzano and Sarah Kofler from Vinschger are the winners of the 4th category tennis tournament “Memorial Carmen Tubaro and Nicola Celesti”, which was held on the clay courts of the TC Druso in Bolzano. A total of 98 players were registered.
