Andreas Seppi was not up for grabs at the Masters 1000 tournament in Montreal, which comes with $3.587.490 in prize money. The 31-year-old from Kaltern was eliminated on Monday evening in the first round of the singles against Frenchman Gilles Simon, number 11 in the world, after 1:23 hours of play with 2:6, 4:6. A few hours later he also said goodbye to doubles.
