Meneghetti and Pfeifer win in Deutschnofen

In the third men's category, number 3 seed Matteo Meneghetti from Padua and Hannes Köb from TC Ratschings reached the final. Meneghetti, who also played the Open tournament in Brunico, where he was eliminated in the opening round in three sets against Pietro Orlando Fellin, beat Daniel Botti from Merano 7:5, 6:3 in the quarterfinals in Deutschnofen and 3.4 in the semifinals. Pfeifer was able to eliminate Franziska Daum 6:2, 6:3, while Viero knocked Marion Kostner from Val Gardena out of the competition 6:1, 6:2.
