National championship title for Meran – Rungg celebrates in the B2 series

In the men's district A, TC Gherdeina and TC Bozen were already confirmed as semi-finalists. Today both teams fought for first place in the table, although a draw was enough for the Val Gardena team to win the group. And that's how it happened: On Martin-Knoller-Straße, Patric Prinoth & Co. got three points after the four individual games, and then Bozen equalized to make it 3-3. The Val Gardena team, who dropped points for the first time today, will face TC Meran A in the semi-finals. The Kurtstadt team lost 1-2 to ASC St. Georgen in the game for first place in District B. The Pusterers celebrated their fourth win in their fourth game today and will face Bozen in the semi-finals. The semi-finals will take place in a week, on May 4rd. Lots decide on relegation For the women, however, Merano won the national championship title for the fourth time. The Passerstädter women welcomed the TC Gemeinde Bozen on the last match day. A draw was enough for Marion Viertler & Co., but the Talferstadt team needed a win. The direct duel then ended 2-2. The fourth title in the club's history for the Meran team after 1981, 1995 and 2018 was perfect. Meran will now play the regional final against the winner from Trentino, the winner will qualify for the Italian championship.

The draw, however, will determine relegation. After ASV Lana drew 2-2 at home against Bruneck and TC Rungg near Brixen, both teams got two points. The direct duel also ended in a draw, and the point ratio is the same at 6:14. At the beginning of next week there will be a draw to see who will be relegated to Serie D1. There was something to celebrate for the TC Rungg women's team in the B2 series. On the first match day, the Girlan women clearly won 3-1 at home against GT Tennis Moruzzo. The Rungger points were won by Lara Pfeifer, Verena Hofer and the Pfeifer-Angelica Moratelli doubles.

Rungg's men, on the other hand, held their own away against Plebiscito Padova 4-2. Patrick Prader, Marco Bortolotti and Tobias Kirchlechner won their singles, and Bortolotti/Prader also had the upper hand in the doubles. National championship title for Meran – Rungg celebrates in the B2 series

On the fifth and final matchday of the Serie C championship, the decisions for the semi-final pairings were made on Sunday. For the women, however, Meran was crowned national champion for the fourth time after 1981, 1995 and 2018.
