Moritz Trocker wins a strong tournament in Neumarkt

Over 280 players took part in the tournament in the Unterland - including many of the best South Tyroleans, such as Moritz Trocker and Sebastian Brzezinski.

In the men's final, these two players also faced each other, with Trocker bringing his teammate Brzezinski to his knees in a highly exciting match after over three and a half hours of play, 6:7, 6:1, 7:6(3). “I am very satisfied with my performance here. In the quarterfinals, Trocker eliminated Tobias Tappeiner from Paulsen in two sets 6:2, 6:3 and in the semifinals he knocked Elia Barozzi from Trento out of the tournament 6:4, 6:0. Brzezinski from Bolzano, on the other hand, first clearly defeated Cristian Cauzzi from Arco 6:0, 6:0 and then number 3 seed Mattia Lotti from Trento in three sets with 6:4, 5:7, 6:1.

Lisa Tomasi triumphed in the 3rd women's category. The 3.2 player from ATA Battisti Trento defeated Lisa Marie Sartori from Tennis Brixen from Welsberg 6:3, 6:2 in the final. Tomasi eliminated Martina Broggi in straight sets in the semi-final, while Sartori prevailed against Sara Rizzolli 6:3, 3:6, 6:3 in the second semi-final.

In the 4th category, the Neumarkt host Patrick Zambaldi and Sofia Selle from Predazzo prevailed.
