Mr. Glutton still has big plans

After reaching the final of the ATP 250 tournament in Antwerp, Jannik Sinner received the greatest recognition an athlete can receive. Not from the large audience, but from his competitor Lloyd Harris. Noticeably impressed by Sinner's quality, the 24-year-old shrugged his shoulders several times during the match, looked helplessly at his box to ask: "What should I do against this outstanding opponent?" And he also gained points in the ATP race. The gap to eighth-placed Hubert Hurkacz is currently 210 points. But he doesn't waste any thought on it, as he revealed on the PK: “It's a long road. There's this tournament and then three more. I have to play well in Vienna and in Paris, and there are other incredible players trying to get there.”

At the above-mentioned, top-class ATP 500 tournament in Vienna, which starts on Monday, Sinner is seeded at number 7 and will face the US serving giant Reilly Opelka (ATP 25) at the start. The two know each other very well, having won the doubles title at the ATP 250 tournament in Atlanta in the summer. For now, all the attention is on the final against Diego Schwartzman (ATP 14). The 1.70 meter short Argentine outclassed Jenson Brooksby (ATP 70) 6:4 and 6:0 in the semi-finals, is in the final in Antwerp for the third time and now finally wants his first title.
