Defeats for Knapp, Ladurner and Moroder

While Julia Mayr celebrated her eighth tournament victory on the ITF tour in Austria on Sunday, things didn't go as planned for the other South Tyrolean professional tennis players this weekend: Karin Knapp was eliminated in the first round of the WTA tournament in Washington (220.000 Dollars in prize money), Jasmine Ladurner and Grays Moroder, however, failed to qualify for the ITF tournament in Gardone Val Trompia (10.000 dollars).
