Patrick Prader cannot be stopped in Brixen either

TC Brixen celebrated the club's 50th anniversary last week. For this special occasion, the president of the club, Thomas Zwerger, invited, among others, all former presidents of TC Brixen to a great party.

A total of 43 players took part in the traditional open tournament this year. Top favorite Patrick Prader from Barbian defeated the 2.8 player Federico Manfredi 6:2, 6:0 in the semifinals, and then clearly won the final against Patric Prinoth from Val Gardena with 6:3, 6:3. Prinoth had previously eliminated his teammate at TC St. Christian-Wolkenstein, Michael Kerschbaumer from Brixen, 6:2, 6:2.

The women's victory went to Magdalena Santer. The Lana native, who plays for the TC Gemeinde Bozen, defeated number 1 seed Vera Ploner from Pusteria in the final in two sets 6:2, 6:2. Santer had easily eliminated Alessia Tripaldelli 6-0, 6-0 in the semifinals, Ploner defeated the 2.7 player Bianca Omedè in two sets.

Tolpeit and Wiesflecker win 4th category Stefan Tolpeit prevailed in the 4th men's category. The 4.1 from TC St. Lorenz clearly brought his teammate Alexander Kehrer to his knees in the final with 6:1, 6:1. Tanja Wiesflecker was at the top among the women. The Vahrner won against Giorgia Dalle Grave from TC Ladinia 7:5, 6:3.

Patrick Prader cannot be stopped in Brixen either

After the victories in Meran, Kaltern and Bozen, Patrick Prader also won the open tournament “50th anniversary tournament Tennis Brixen” on Saturday, which is part of the Raiffeisen Grand Prix 2017. The 31-year-old Barbian prevailed in the final against Patric Prinoth from Val Gardena 6:3, 6:3.
