Rispoli and Hofer win the Open tournament in Ortisei

In the men's race, surprise man Nicola Rispoli from TC Meran and top favorite Andrea Pecorella from Tuscany faced off in Ortisei. The 2.8 player Rispoli had eliminated number 3 seed Matteo Vecchiarelli from the tournament in the quarterfinals with 6:1, 6:1, and in the semifinals he also beat Tommaso Pederzolli from Levico 6:4, 5:7, 6:4 through. But there was nothing to gain for the Puster woman in the final: Hofer dominated the match and clearly won 6:0, 6:1.
