Rublev bites his way into the semi-finals

Late on Friday evening, Rublev secured the semi-final ticket at the $14,5 million ATP Finals in Turin. In the decisive match of the red group he defeated the Greek Stefanos Tsitsipas 3:6,6:3,6:2.

Rublev looked bad in the first set against Tsitsipas, but the game turned sour in the second round. An early break in the third set finally set the stage for victory for the Russian.

Before that, Novak Djokovic had also won his third game in this season's final tournament. The Serb prevailed against the Russian Daniil Medvedev 6:4,6:7(5),7:6(2). .

Rublev asks Ruud to dance The tournament favorite will meet the American Taylor Fritz in the semifinals on Saturday (14.00 p.m.), Rublev will face the Norwegian Casper Ruud from 21.00 p.m. In the direct comparisons of the semi-final opponents, Djokovic leads against Fritz 5:0, Rublev is ahead against Ruud 4:1.
