Rungg is sniffing out the play-offs

After the 2-5 opening win against Bassano, the men from TC Rungg/Merano Speck did not show any weakness in the Serie A1 against Castellazzo on Sunday in Parma and won 6-0. Because their closest rival Casale didn't get more than a 3-3 draw in Bassano, a 3-3 draw in the preliminary round final at home against Casale on Sunday was enough for the Überetscher team to win the group and qualify for the play-offs.

The women from TC Rungg/Kiku were also strong. At the start of the A2 season they won against Sporting Torino 4-0. Next Sunday there will be a direct duel for group victory against Palermo in Sicily. The winner moves into the play-off; if the score is 2-2, the drawing must decide.
