Rungger tennis girls give talent test

Ussa boys win in quick succession The national team champions and some runners-up were allowed to take part in the qualifying tournaments. CT Ussa was there for the U12 boys in Trento. The Bolzano team won all three group games and met CT Bovolone in the final. The Talferstadt team also had no problems against the team from Veneto: Daniel Lechner beat Samuel Estevez Junior in two sets 6:3, 6:3, while Christian Bacher clearly won against Francesco Lo Coco 6:2, 6: 0 could claim. The CT Ussa thus bought the ticket for the Final Eight from September 28th to 30th in Naples. TC Rungg at the final in Cervia The second South Tyrolean team in the final of the Italian Championship is the U16 girls team from TC Rungg. The Überetscher women, who were in action in Merano, won all three group games 3-0. In the final they defeated the Trentino team from ATA Battisti 2-1. Lara Pfeifer beat Sveva Bernardi 6:2, 6:2, Anna Santa then lost the second singles against Martina Schmid 2:6, 5:7. The Pfeifer/Santa duo then won the decisive doubles match against Bernardi/Schmid 7:6, 7:5. Rungg will play the national final in Cervia at the end of September. In District B, however, TC Meran had to settle for fourth place after three defeats.

The remaining six South Tyrolean Tams have also been eliminated. The U14 girls of TC Kaltern (Anna Katharina Palla and Lucia Panin) suffered three defeats in district A and came fourth. The wrestlers, however, narrowly missed out on making it to the final in Circle B and, after two wins, had to admit defeat to CT Scaligero 0-2 in the third match.

Rungg, which had to do without their injured top player Nicolò Toffanin, also lost the third match against Villafranca 16-1 for the U2 boys and thus missed out on reaching the final. Rungg's U14 men's team had to settle for third place after one win and two defeats, the same as the U3 boys' team. In the U12 girls, TC Meran narrowly missed the final after 12 wins and 2 defeat. TC Gherdeina was unable to field a team for the U1 boys. Rungger tennis girls give talent test

Nine youth teams from South Tyrol took part in the qualifying tournaments in the Italy North-East zone for the final round of the Italian Championship. Two teams made it to the national final. They will fight for the Italian championship title with the best seven teams in their category.
