Seppi defeats Ward: Italy in the Davis Cup semi-finals after 16 years

After 16 years, Italy is back in the Davis Cup semifinals. After Fabio Fognini's sensational victory against Andy Murray, Andreas Seppi from Kaltern took the fifth, decisive point against James Ward after 2:17 hours of play with 6:4, 6:3, 6:4. The “Azzurri” beat Great Britain with 3:2 points after being 1:2 behind. From September 12th to 14th they will face Switzerland in the semi-finals away, who also eliminated Kazakhstan 3-2.
