Series B: First point for TC Bozen

Bari also lost their first game in Crema with 1:5, but last weekend they unexpectedly picked up a point against TC Italia at home with a 3:3 draw. For the Talferstadt team, the second matchday didn't start as expected. After the first two singles they were already 0-2 behind. Aloisha Bona (3.1) had no chance in the opening match against the 2.6 player Alberto Cristofaro and had to admit defeat 0:6, 0:6. The same fate also befell Alex Laimer (3.4), who also didn't score a single point against Paolo Scrimieri. Afterwards, new signing Johannes Ager celebrated his debut in the top singles against Giorgio Ricca (2.2). The player from Kramsach had to lose the first set in the tiebreak to Ricca 6:7, but won the other two sets 7:5, 6:2 and thus shortened the score to 1:2. In the fourth game there was a duel between former Kalter professional Thomas Holzer and Marco Micunco. Holzer also lost the first part of the game, but didn't give up and ultimately won in three sets 2:6, 6:4, 6:3. After four singles games played, the doubles decided. Both teams got a point here. The duo Ager/Holzer prevailed in two sets against Ricca/Cristofaro with 6:4, 7:5, while Bona/Laimer clearly lost against Micunco/Scrimieri with 1:6, 1:6. TC Bozen will continue on the fourth matchday of Serie B in Vicenza in two weeks.

Series B: First point for TC Bozen

After the 0-6 away defeat at group favorites TC Italia two weeks ago, TC Bozen celebrated their first championship point at home on Sunday. Captain Laura Garrone's team drew 3-3 points against CT Bari in an exciting match.
