Serie C Women: The title and relegation battles remain exciting

Due to the bad weather, only one match in the 4th round could be played for the women on Sunday: Brixen and Merano drew 2-2. On Monday Rungg defeated ASV Lana away from home 3-1, on Wednesday in the second supplementary game of TC Gemeinde Bozen they shot TC Bruneck away 4-0 and took the lead in the table ahead of the Runggerinnen with the same points. Behind them are Meran and Brixen, two points behind.

All four teams still have a chance of winning the national championship title on Sunday, as the municipality of Bozen has to go to Meran, while Rungg welcomes TC Brixen. The direct relegation duel between Bruneck and Lana will also be exciting. Both teams have not yet written anything in the table.

In the women's Serie C, the decisions will not be made until Sunday, May 12th, on the 5th and final matchday of the championship. The municipalities of Bozen, Rungg, Meran and Brixen still have a chance of winning the championship title, while Bruneck and Lana are fighting to stay in the league.
