Series C: The favorites continue to win

TC Gherdeina celebrated its second victory in the men's second game. The Val Gardena team won 5-1 away from bottom team TC Bozen B in District A. Mathis Pesarin took the honorary point for the white-reds against Andrea Anselmi. Co-favorite Rungg also started the championship with a 5-1: The Überetsch team was able to hold its own against TC Meran B, which still had no points. In District B, favorite Meran surprisingly dropped points today. The Passerstädter team couldn't get past a 3-3 draw away from home against TC Gemeinde Bozen. Serie B relegated TC Bozen A, however, won its opening match in Kaltern 4-2.

For the women, Meran is the only team leading the table without losing any points after two match days. The Passerstadt women with Marion Viertler and Teresa Schwienbacher sent promoted Lana home 4-0 in the early Friday match at home. Rungg also won 4-0 in Bruneck, while the municipality of Bozen prevailed 3-1 in Brixen. On the third matchday on May 1st there will be a direct duel in Überetsch between second-placed Rungg and leaders Meran.
