Series C: The men's semi-final pairings have been determined

In the men's district A, TC Gherdeina and TC Rungg were already confirmed as semi-finalists. On Saturday, both teams fought for first place in the table, with the Val Gardena team clearly winning 5-1 in Überetsch. Patric Prinoth & Co., who won all four games, will meet TC Meran A in the semi-finals. The Kurstadt team drew 1-3 in the game for first place in District B against TC Bozen A. The Talferstädter secured first place with seven points and met Rungg in the semi-finals.

On Monday, the home team for the men's semi-final pairings was drawn in Bolzano: TC Gherdeina, winner in District A, will meet TC Meran A in Wolkenstein. In the second semi-final, TC Bozen A, who won in District B, will host TC Rungg A.

In the playout, Meran B plays at home against Bozen, while Kaltern hosts TC Bozen B in Altenburg. All games will take place on May 19th.

Lots decide the women’s national championship title The unofficial Serie C women’s national championship title was awarded on Monday morning in Bolzano. The draw between the TC municipality of Bozen and Rungg decided in favor of the Talferstadt residents. A draw was also drawn as to who had to be relegated between Bruneck and Lana: the Pusterians managed to stay in the league, Lana will play in the D1 series next year.

After TC Rungg won 4-0 at home against Brixen and TC Gemeinde Bozen beat Meran 3-1 on the last matchday of the championship, both teams finished Serie C with nine points in first place. The direct duel ended in a 2:2 draw, and the point ratio was the same at 16:4. The draw decided in favor of the ladies of the TC Municipality of Bozen, who can celebrate their third national championship title after 2014 and 2015. The Bolzano women will probably play the regional final away on June 2nd against the Trentino national champions, the winners will qualify for the Italian championship.
