Series C: Favorites continue to win

TC Gherdeina celebrated its second victory in the men's second game. The Val Gardena team again won 6-0 away from bottom team TC Meran B in District A. Co-favorites TC Bozen also started the championship with a 6-0: The white-red team around Alexander Weis were able to assert themselves in the city duel against TC Gemeinde Bozen, which still had no points. In District B, favorite Meran A shot promoted Völs 6-0 today. Promotion candidate ASC St. Georgen, however, clearly won its opening match in Brixen 5-1. Michael Kerschbaumer took the honorary point for the Bischofsstadt team against Lorenzo Di Maro. For the women, Brixen and Meran lead the table with six points, level on points after two match days. The Passerstadt team with Marion Viertler sent promoted Lana home 3-1, while Brixen clearly won at home against Bruneck 4-0. TC Gemeinde Bozen brought bottom team Rungg to its knees with a score of 3-1. On the third match day on May 2nd there will be a direct duel between the two leaders Meran and Brixen.
